“ My wife, daughter and I stopped in to the Ladue, MO Shake Shack for a late lunch today. This was out first trip to SS. We ordered at the kiosk and it was a simple process. I ordered the Smoke Shack double burger, Black Truffle Parmesan Fries, and a chocolate shake. My wife got the Chicken Shack sandwich, fries, and Chocolate Yule Log Shake. My daughter ordered the Smoke Shack single burger, Bacon Cheese Fries and Chocolate Yule Log Shake. The total was $78. The restaurant was mostly clean, there were several tables that needed attention, but otherwise clean. Our order came out within just a few minutes of ordering and getting a table. The staff was friendly and seemed to be keeping busy with take out orders. The fries were hot and fresh and seasoned well. The truffle sauce was very rich and had a strong truffle flavor. The Smoke Shack burger was hot and fresh, but very greasy. The burger sweated right through the diaper and was definitely a ten napkin affair. The burger had great flavor, though. The chocolate milk shake was topped with whipped cream and a chocolately, creamy situation and tasted great. Overall, the food was good, $78 seems a bit high. ”

“ I was greeted upon entry. This is a good seasoned burger to satisfy a craving. They have really good crinkle cut fries and a nice cheese sauce to go with it. They are more expensive than I expected because they don't do meals, only a la carte. They also have shakes to make the perfect trio. They have a private parking lot and a walk up window. Recommended. ”

There are so many great options deciding will be tough. The ambiance is fast food burger jointy, and it's noisy but a fun environment. Yummy shakes and frozen custard options as well. Torn between root beer float a choc shake. I had the Korean burger, fries and a root beer float. My companion had the Korean chicken, cheese fries and a dragon fruit tea. The chicken was not as good as the burger. The service was good also. ”

“ Went there on a Tuesday for online pickup. The place is really big , clean and can easily accommodate large crowd. I ordered their ShackBurger. I've to admit the burger is so good. Made to order which makes you to wait for a while. But l felt like given the price paid the patty is on thinner side. If you are really hungry. You may have to order something extra to feel full. I also googled and found out they have high standards for their meat and eggs which made them to price it little more comparing to regular fast food restaurants. I would definitely go again if I'm looking for a healthier option where I don't have to worry about the meat quality. Packing: I wish the packing could have been better. The company Either a bigger paper wrap or a box with lid. It's just open tray (refer picture) without any lid to close which can make the food to fell apart depends on where you are keeping it in your car. That's why I took down one star. ”

“ Honestly a really lovely shake shack location! The restaurant was clean, spacious, and lively. The service was quick and easy- we used the iPads to make our order since we used a credit card and the order came out perfectly! The food was delicious and filling - I'm looking forward to coming back again soon! This location is easy to navigate and good for people who are coming in groups. ”

“ This place still got it !!! Haven't visited Shake Shack in years and craved a delicious burger for lunch . I had the spicy shakemeister burger and the heat from the peppers were spot on! Just enough spice and flavor!! So good i couldn't stop eating even after my nose was running . I paired my burger w some cheese and bacon fries and washed it down with a cookies and cream milkshake. Service was fast and friendly and i enjoyed dining out on the patio! ”

“ I'm bumping it up for 4 stars because the young teenagers working there were so pleasant! A rarity in customer service these days. I came here for one thing, and one thing only: vegan burgers and vegan shakes! After years of testing, they finally debuted the Veggie Shack nationwide. Then came the uproar from vegans because as is, it's vegetarian but not vegan. The vegan breakdown: Veggie Shack burger patty - The patty itself is vegan. It's made with a bunch of veggies, farro and quinoa. It's a delicious patty, and I'm happy to have a non-faux beef (Impossible/Beyond, etc) option. Buns - The bun is not vegan. The only option for vegans are the lettuce wrap or the gluten-free bun. I opted for the gf bun. It tastes gluten-free. IYKYK (The vegan wheat bun that was around during testing is not currently available.) Toppings - this is the saddest part for me because I love a sloppy, saucy burger. Vegans have to omit the cheese, the crispy onions, and the Shack sauce from the Veggie Shack, leaving us with a pretty boring burger. You can certainly add some of your own sauces, but that kinda defeats the purpose of eating out. (The vegan lemon mayo from the testing era is no longer available.) There's an old allergen menu floating around online that states the gf bun contains eggs. The correct allergen menu shows no dairy/no eggs in the gf bun. I also contacted corporate and received confirmation in writing about what is vegan/vegan-friendly. Fries were good. The vegan Nondairy Chocolate Shake was delicious! I would certainly come back for the vegan shake and maybe a shake and fries combo. I'd also like to try the vegan chocolate custard. I just feel like the vegan burger situation needs some improvement. ”
